Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening. Wherever you're tuning from, this is Pastor, lucy painter with your daily insights. And we started a cell is called psa Prender of his holiness in our God lies all that is glorious and beautiful. All that is elegant and beautiful. His elegance and transcendent excellence ought to make us regard him with the highest veneration, owner and majesty accompany his presence. The whole universe displays his glory, justice, holiness, and massive light. His quotes. He adorns himself in holiness. His very nature diffuses a pleasantness, a gentleness over those that dwell in his presence.

These are the symbols of his child, the uniqueness that testify to his praise worthiness. These are the qualities of our God that the bible almost in its entirety, calls us to a claim to resound and bless our God for. And this is the wisdom in the psalmist words in psalms 96 verse 6 to 10 when he says splendor and majesty are before him. Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. Ascribe to the Lord of families of the people. Ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name. Bring an offering and come into his courts. Worship the law in the splendor of his holiness, tremble before him or the other.

Say among the nations the Lord raise. There are other versions that says, worship the Lord in the beauty of his holiness. And this is a constant theme throughout the bible that our God is worthy of praise from every created being, that we must recognize and declare not as a people, conferring a new attribute to God, but our people acknowledging his glory and strength. This is an imperative call a call demanding compliance from God's people, to give him both time and attention, to approach him with absolute surrender and service to present ourselves before him, not just to receive, but to give the Lord the honor that is due his name and to acknowledge his just holy and true nature.

The psalmist words, a call to us to present to the Lord and offering befitting the one true and living god holy, an acceptable sacrifice. A sacrifice of prayer of praise and a broken heart. A talking of our own submission. This is what it means to worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness, to bring to him what is due to him because of his nature and perfection, to confess the goodness. And I've used this word many times, the goodness of our Lord, jesus and to worship God the manner in which he himself has prescribed. And how do we know what kind of worship the Lord demands of us? It's just by being intimate with him by staying in constant contact with him.

And this is why we said yesterday that we can never fully appreciate the splendor of this holiness until we have experienced it. We cannot claim to have experienced until we have lived in his presence until we immerse ourselves into the worship of the Lord without reservation. Then the testimony of our experience of the Lord's holiness and greatness makes the matter and the motive of our worship, because it does not leave a heart that it has beheld it empty. The divine presence invokes a profound reverence for the Lord makes the heart tremble with all and breathes a life into our hearts. It triggers a provocation in a believer that cannot be contained until all we want to do is proclaimed to the world.

To shout for all to hear that we have seen the goodness of the Lord, that we have seen his favor in mercy, that we have tested of the Lord and we know that he is good and this is why the Sammy says in verse 10 of the texts we have read today, say among the nations, the Lord reigns. This proclamation comes after the people have worshiped the Lord in all his splendor after they have experienced the fullness of his glory. And this draws the implication that it is only where the Lord reigns, that he can be worshiped in spirit. And in truth that the profession of our faith realize deeply on our worship. We proclaim and invite people into a kingdom that we have dwelt in and his goodness. We have experienced firsthand our experience of the Lord's goodness, his majesty and holiness lays the foundation for our testimony.

And you know, this is what I've always said when I speak to, especially the people who lead worship, I always comment and say. You cannot lead people in worship. If you have never been there, you cannot tell us, Let us go before the Lord. If you don't know the way where you're gonna lead us. So our experience, if you go there worship in the splendor of His holiness, then you are able to lead us there. Our experience of the Lord goodness, His majesty and holiness lays the foundation of our testimony. You cannot work in the splendor of his holiness and stay the same because it is a life altering, a chain breaking freedom, given presence. You cannot dwell in this real and remain doubtful because it grounds and establishes you. In truth, it provides stability.

It is the foundation of true peace in a world that offers no guarantee. It provides assurance to the fainting heart, a continuance of grace and mercy that can outlive our troubles, because his holiness and mercy transcends everything that experience diffuses through every area of a believer's life. And when we understand that being in the presence of such a wonderful God, what a confronts upon us. When we understand what we inherit by staying in his splendor, we have no reason to want to depart from his presence. If we could understand the value of our worship of God, the value of acknowledging his honor and majesty, we could never trade a moment in his presence for anything, for it is in his splendor that our days and nights our guide are guarded.

It is there that we learn about the character and the nature of our God. It is in our worship of God, that the image of God in us is restored. It is my prayer that we may dwell in this nourishing presence of God that we may desire to behold the splendor of his majesty and to taste of his greatness every day. It is my prayer that the time we spend in the presence of the Lord leaves a clear enough image for us to reflect to the world and and a conviction that in the splendor of his holiness and mercy, there is to be found a sanctuary for us.
