Yeah, mm Hi everyone. My name is Darby rows of Darby Rose dot com. Welcome to meditating in God's Word podcast. Um I am your host and I hope you are ready for an abbreviated bible lesson today. Today. This lesson that we're talking about, the name of it is called the Burning Bush and this is found in exodus three through four. So I just want to jump right in and give you some summary commentary and a few questions moses was on the mountain of God and he's seen this bush that was burning but was never actually burned up. And so that intrigued moses and God always knows what to do to get our attention.

But that's that's a story for another day. But moses was intrigued by this burning bush. And so he came closer and he heard a voice say take off your sandals, This is holy ground. And in that moment God was preparing moses to go back and get his people. He was preparing him to go and deliver the Children of Israel from the bondage of Egypt. God gives moses these instructions and moses is still very unsure. He is not feeling confident or comfortable with what God is asking him to do and moses, acts for some support. And that support comes in the form of Aaron because moses is not feeling that he can do the job. That God has asked him to do so. God gently and graciously gives him Aaron to support him to go back and free the Israelites.

So let me give you a little bit of commentary and then we're gonna do a little bit of questions. I would think that all the miraculous signs God showed moses was enough. However, it was not in exodus foreign 10 moses tried to use his slow speech as another excuse, but God wasn't interested in any more of moses excuses in exodus 4 14. God's anger was kindled against moses. God gave moses his brother to be his spokesperson during this vital time. Let me give you a few questions. What kind of land did God want to take the Children of Israel to? And the second question was, where did moses meet erin? All right. You guys know that? I love the chapter in verse.
