Yeah. Hi, welcome to meditating in God's Word podcast. I am your host, Dharavi Rose of Dharavi Rose dot com. Thank you for joining me today for this abbreviated bible lesson. Um We are going to talk about Less than 33. We are in the blue book and meditating in God's Word bible study series. Uh this is book four of four, so therefore books in the genesis bible study series. And this is the fourth book. So, I want you guys to come with me on this journey into this lesson. This is a beautiful story of betrayal, trust in God and living in your integrity.

The name of this lesson is a false betrayal. This is less than 33 and this is found in genesis 39. So let me just tell you about the story. So this is joseph, he's now in Egypt and he is working in part of his house um and he is trusted with many responsibilities. He's getting closer and closer to this inner circle, He's already in the inner circle and so he is working for potter for and potter for has a wife when no one was around potter for his wife gave him an opportunity to betray potter for joseph would not betray potter for he decided that his loyalty and his integrity would not allow him to betray pottery powder for his wife lied. Anyway, joseph was thrown into jail and I can only imagine what joseph was thinking after he was sent there and he has worked his way up to this position and now he gets lied on by this woman and he's thrown in jail.

But God was still faithful to him even though he was thrown in jail. So let's have a little bit of commentary and then I'll give you some question In Genesis 39, 23. Even though joseph was in prison, God did not take his hand off him. He continue to bless and prosper, joseph, joseph was a born leader. His ability to lead and manage was undeniable. Even in prison, joseph stayed faithful in the responsibilities that God had placed before him, even in the worst condition. What a faith filled testimony that joseph had joseph had faith when he was in prison. That his current situation was not the end of his story. He had faith that God was in control of everything. Let me give you some questions. How was joseph's appearance? What did part of his wife have in her hand when joseph left her presence? Make sure you write chapter and verse.
